At 407 AM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from Cisco to near North Georgia Speedway to near Shannon, moving east at 45 mph.

HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts.

IMPACT…Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include… Rome, Dalton, Calhoun, Chatsworth, Adairsville, Varnell, Eton, Resaca, Plainville, Shannon, Crandall, Pinson, Sumac, Redbud, Gregory, Lake Marvin, Conasauga Lake, Beaverdale, Coosa, and Oakman.

What to do: A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 600 AM EDT for north central and northwestern Georgia. For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building.
