Ohio River at Shawneetown affecting Crittenden, Hardin, Union and Gallatin Counties.

For the Ohio River. at Shawneetown.

  • WHAT…Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

  • WHERE…Ohio River at Shawneetown.

  • WHEN…Until tomorrow morning.

  • IMPACTS…At 33.0 feet, Minor flooding occurs affecting mainly bottomland and surrounding low lying areas.

  • ADDITIONAL DETAILS…

  • At 10:30 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 33.4 feet.
  • Recent Activity…The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 10:30 AM CDT Sunday was 34.7 feet.
  • Forecast…The river is expected to rise to a crest of 33.5 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight.
