…HEAVY SNOW AND BLIZZARD CONDITIONS INTO THIS MORNING…
.Light to heavy snow is ongoing across west central and southwest Wisconsin and eastern portions of southeast Minnesota and northeast Iowa. With winds gusting to 35 to 50 mph, visibility reductions to as low as 1/4 of a mile are occurring. These blizzard and near blizzard conditions will continue to lead to treacherous travel through the early morning hours.

WHAT…North winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 60 mph expected.
WHERE…Southern Cook County. This includes the Tribal Lands of the Grand Portage Reservation.
WHEN…Until 2 PM CDT this afternoon.
IMPACTS…Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines. Widespread power outages are expected. Travel will be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.
What to do: Remain in the lower levels of your home during the windstorm, and avoid windows. Watch for falling debris and tree limbs. Use caution if you must drive.
