At 355 AM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 6 miles east of Sweetwater to 6 miles east of Cohutta, moving east at 40 mph.
HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts.

IMPACT…Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
- Locations impacted include… Madisonville, Benton, Ducktown, Etowah, Vonore, Tellico Plains, William L. Davenport Refuge, McGee Carson Peninsula, Big Frog Mountain, and Parksville.
What to do: For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building. A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 600 AM EDT for east Tennessee.
